My Name is Elisabeth Ildal. I was born up north in Jutland, in a home with piano. I can play a bit and read nods. I have lived north of Copenhagen in Denmark for 37 years. I was diagnosed with PD on the 20th June 2013 after 7 years in and out of hospitals. I am still fresh, don’t get much medicine and don’t shake at all, I am stiff and I am still working. In november 2016 I founded Cure4Parkinson in Denmark which is a Training Center for PwP. There is no public money involved. The unique is, all the coaches also have PD. I believe in the positive, living well and in training. I have been given one life, so I am getting the best out of it. I meet DJ Chrissy, Andre and Andy at WPC 2016 in Portland, and have been a DJ since 1th January 2017. I am still learning to be a DJ, try to losing a bit up. Before Portland I did not know what Parkinson’s was, even though I have had I for several years. Today I am fully aware about what have hit me, and after WPC 2016 Portland I promised myself to use the rest off my life getting awareness of the disease. So today I am DJ here at Parkinson Radio Parkies, Founder og Cure4Parkinson in Denmark, Ambassador- & blogger for WPC2019Kyoto and advocate at Parkinson’s Movement UK, where I have focus on awareness and media. I play rock, pop, soft, blues and jazz. Greatest music in the 80.
